Strand woven bamboo flooring is much more durable and stable floor than conventional Horizontal or vertical bamboo flooring. When standard bamboo planks are made from the bamboo material, the by-product and excess material of the manufacture of bamboo flooring is taken and coated with an adhesive. The extra strands are woven together and then compressed with resin to make a highly durable and stronger material, known as "Strand woven bamboo".
